Introduction to Speaker:
Dou Keyang, Doctor of Literature, Associate Professor of JLU School of Humanities, Deputy Director of JLU Center for Contemporary Marxist Literary Theory Research, Postdoctoral fellow of the Center for Literary and Art Studies of Beijing Normal University, and Visiting Scholar of Erlangen University in Germany. He has won the third prize of the Ministry of Education for Outstanding Achievements, the first prize of Jilin Province for Outstanding Academic Achievements, the first prize of Jilin Province Lecture Contest, the first prize of Jilin Province Intelligent Teaching Contest, and the third prize of the National University Intelligent Teaching Contest. He is the keynote speaker of the National Excellent Online Course, the national first-class undergraduate course "Introduction to the Classic of Western Literary Theory", and the high-quality online course "General Theory of Traditional Chinese Studies" in Jilin Province. He has published 6 monographs and textbooks of various types, as well as over 40 papers in core journals such as Social Science Front, Journal of Jilin University, and Research on the Book of Changes.
Introduction to Lecture:
This lecture will start with the cultural background and mode of thinking of the Chinese foreign language discipline since modern times, and naturally extend to philosophical hermeneutics and literary phenomenology in academic theory. At the same time, it will reflect on the traditional Chinese classical hermeneutics, providing learners with a complete interpretative process of understanding, interpretation, and application, thereby forming a complete understanding of the mode of thinking and interpretative system of foreign language learning and interpretative research.
