Department of Japanese Achieved Great Success in the 4th People's China Cup Japanese International Translation Competition

The award ceremony of the 4th People's China Cup Japanese International Translation Contest was held on November 28th. After nearly one month of strict evaluation by the competition jury and final review by the competition organizers, five students from the Department of Japanese won the competition. The winners and instructors are as follows:

Jointly organized by People's China Magazine of China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration and the Sub-Committee of Japanese Teaching Instruction of The National Advisory Committee on Teaching English Language to Majors in Higher Education under The Ministry of Education, co-organized by Chinese Japanese Language Teaching Research Association and undertook by The Translators Association of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou Lianpu Translation Company, the 4th People's China Cup Japanese International Translation Contest has attracted more than 6,000 participants from over 600 universities and companies from both China and Japan, which received wide attention from all walks of life, especially from universities and industry colleagues.
