Academic Lecture at the School of Foreign Languages - The Construction of Online and Offline Mixed First Class Courses

At the invitation of the School of Foreign Studies, at 1:30 pm on April 7, 2023, Professor Quan Yonggen, Dean of the School of Asian and African Languages and Culture at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, National Level First Class Course Host, and Leader of the Korean Language Discipline, gave a lecture titled "Construction of Online and Offline Mixed First Class Courses" to our teachers and students in the Foreign Language Building 429. This lecture was hosted by Professor Quan Helv of our college, and attended by undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students, and some teachers from the School of Foreign Studies.

Professor Quan Yonggen introduced the overview, construction content, channels, goals, significance, and key issues that need to be addressed in the construction of first-class undergraduate courses to the teachers and students of our school. In addition, Professor Quan Yonggen introduced to the faculty and students of our college the "Famous Teacher Cloud Course Collection" platform developed by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, and introduced the construction overview and usage methods of Korean grammar, audiovisual speaking, reading and other courses

At the end of the lecture, Professor Quan Yonggen started from cultivating students' innovation, inspiring our students to have innovative awareness in their studies. At the same time, he used this as a reference to explain how to adapt to the development of the times and build first-class courses under the background of the "Double Ten Thousand Plan".

During the lecture, the students spoke enthusiastically and actively interacted with Professor Quan Yonggen. Professor Quan Yonggen also expressed his enthusiasm for our students to actively participate in the talent exchange between our school and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Trade, and continuously improve their bilingual translation skills.

This lecture is an important part of the construction of our national first-class undergraduate program, which has significant implications for the construction of our first-class undergraduate courses and the cultivation of first-class talents in foreign language majors.
